• Project Description: Funding will be used for the construction of a new Aeroskills workshop, refurbishment of a classroom and provision of appropriate equipment.  Through these facilities, students will be able to undertake a practical course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, which will lead to a Certificate IV in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, an area of national skills shortage.

Lead School: Harristown State High School

• Project Name: Harristown State High School Trade Training Centre – Construction
• Project Description: The Trade Training Centre at Harristown State High School will give students the opportunity to achieve competencies up to a Certificate III level in the area of Construction. The Trade Training Centre will involve the construction of an onsite facility at the school and equipment to support the implementation of programs in construction that have been developed at Harristown and other state high schools.

• Project Name: Marsden SHS Trade Training Centre
• Project Description: The Marsden Trade Training Centre facility will be a new building, equipped to deliver a Certificate III qualification in Building and Construction to students of Marsden Senior High School and surrounding schools in the Logan Area. The facility will also cater for the wider community with after school and night time short courses.

• Project Description: Funding will be used to build and equip a Building Construction Trade Training Centre facility at Morayfield State High School as well as equipment upgrades at all three schools.  Through these facilities, students from all schools will be able to undertake Certificate III training in general construction at Morayfield State High School, specialised courses in civil construction at Caboolture State High School, and building construction at Morayfield State High School.

• Project Name: TagaiSkills Trade Training Centre
• Project Description: The TagaiSkills Trade Training Centre will deliver Certificate III qualifications in the areas of marine, construction and hospitality. Funding will be used to construct a covered construction court and to fit out a marine training facility at the school. Funding will also be used to upgrade the current TAFE amenities kitchen and recreation room to a commercial training kitchen.

• Project Description: The aim of MarineTech will be to provide Yr 11 and 12 students with trade pathways to the marine industry. The Trade Training Centre will be a purpose-built facility for delivering training at Certificate III qualification in Transport and Distribution (Marine Operations and Marine Engine Driver), Engineering (Boiler Maker, Diesel Fitter, and Outboard Mechanic), and Outdoor Recreation (Recreational and Occupational Diving).

• Project Name: Coomera Hospitality Trade Training Centre
• Project Description: Funding sought will establish a quality training centre that will deliver Certificate level III qualifications in commercial cookery, specialising in catering, bakery, pastry and Asian cookery. The proposed Trade Training Centre will be a new building comprising a large commercial kitchen, bistro and retail outlet which will provide local students with quality vocational skills to meet the needs of local industries.

• Project Name: Pathways to Construction
• Project Description: The Trade Training Centre will enhance the school’s existing Industrial Technology Area through the refurbishment of a portion of the current building, the construction of a covered outdoor practical area and the procurement of construction equipment. The Trade Training Centre will deliver several Certificate III qualifications in the construction industry, including carpentry.
