On 15 July, the Minister for Education, the Hon Julia Gillard MP announced that Round One (Phase Two) of the Trade Training Centres in Schools Program will open on 23 July 2008 and will close on 17 October 2008.
In 2008 there are two phases of funding; through Phase One over $90 million was announced and through Phase Two there will be up to $300 million announced. In each future year there will be a single funding round of more than $210 million.
Round One (Phase Two) of the TTCSP is open to those schools who successfully submitted an EOI on the 9 May 2008. Those schools that were unsuccessful in Round One Phase One will also be given an opportunity to reapply in Round One (Phase Two).
